Carbon
Monoxide Detection System | Method to Detect Carbon Monoxide in Compressed Air
Objective: The Objective of
Carbon Monoxide Detection System is to determine the Amount of Carbon Monoxide
Content in the Compressed / Nitrogen Air / Other Gas Line.

Collection Procedure:
Flush
the Compressed air from the user point for 2 Minutes, before sampling
Connect
the Compressed Air Line to TEK / MCAS Eco Inlet
Adjust
the Flow to 0.1 LPM Using Adjustable Valve Then Close the ON/OFF Valve.
Break the both end
of Gastec tube and Put it into the flow meter outlet so that the arrow mark
Outwards
the flow meter
Open
the ON/OFF valve with stopwatch for 4 minutes
Coefficient
of Variation :10%(For 1-10 ppm), 5% (for 10 to 30 ppm)
As
soon as sampling has finished, Closed the ON/OFF Valve and remove the tube from
the tube holder then read the Colour changed layer Immediately.
