  • Take approximately 10 liters of purified water in a clean covered Stainless Steel (SS) container.
  • Fill approximately 200ml of purified water in clean glass bottles. Shake each bottle gently and check for the visible particulate matter and oil mist in each bottle, Record the observations in the data sheet.
  • Air Sampling Procedure for Particulate Determination and Oil Mist The compressed air shall be sampled from each point of use in the process area. The points of use are mentioned in the Table attached.
  • Clean thoroughly the outer surface of the nozzle.
  • Open the valve of the compressed air line gradually and ensure that the air bubbles generated into the glass bottles do not cause spillover of the purified water.
  • Keep open the valve for 2 minutes and allow the air to bubble out in the purified water sample.
  • Check the visible particle and oil droplets in the above collected water sample, under optical inspection hood against black and white background. Record the observations in the data sheet attached.
  • Repeat the procedure from step Record the observations in the attached data sheet.
