SOP on cleaning & usage of dispensing & transfer vessels

Purpose:
To describe the procedure for cleaning & usage of dispensing & transfer vessels.
Procedure:
Cleaning Procedure
General Requirement
Cleaning Agent:  IPA, Potable water, Purified water, Liquid Soap solution.
Cleaning Accessories: Lint free duster / lint free cloth, Nylon Brush.
Cleaning of Dispensing & Transfer Vessels 100, 200 & 300 Liters
  • Ensure that there is no product material kept/hold inside the vessel.
  • Affix the “TO BE CLEANED” status label as per Quality Assurance SOP of status labeling & transfer it to washing area for cleaning.
  • Open the top lid & discharge valve of the vessels 
  • Rinse the top lid, internal & external surfaces of the vessels with potable water.
  • Mope the top lid & surfaces of the vessels with 2% liquid soap solution using lint free cloth/lint free duster.
  • Nylon brush may use to remove the stubborn material.
  • Rinse top lid, internal and external surface of the vessels with potable water to remove the traces of 2% liquid soap solution.
  • Finally rinse top lid, internal and external surfaces of the vessels with purified water.
  • Dry the vessels with lint free cloth/duster/compressed air.
  • Mope the surfaces of the vessels with IPA solution.
  • Ensure that vessels and its parts are visually cleaned.
  • Close the top lid and discharge valve of the vessels.
  • Affix “CLEANED” status label on the vessels as per Quality Assurance SOP of status labeling and transfer it to cleaned equipment area.
Frequency of Cleaning
Every product to product change over.
Change in color, flavor & essence of product material.
Note: Mop the vessels with IPA solution every time before use
Usage of dispensing and transfer Vessel
Ensure that all the vessels shall be cleaned before dispensing.
Carryout the required vessels to the dispensing area.
After dispensing the material vessels move to manufacturing area through material
air lock.
