Disinfectant Solution Preparation Complete Guide

Use the Disinfectant as per the concentration consecutively on the rotation basis accordingly.

Affix the label on the container of disinfectant as per below.

Savlon 2.5%v/v

• Take a clean bucket.
• 
  
• Add 250 ml of Savlon with measuring cylinder.

• Add the Purified water in bucket up to the 10 Ltrs. & stir properly for 5 min. 

BKC (Benzyl Konium Chloride) 0.5%v/v

•  Take a clean bucket.
• 
  
• Add 50 ml of BKC with measuring cylinder.
• 
  
• Add the Purified water in bucket up to the 10 Ltrs. & stir properly. 

Dettol 2.5%v/v

• Take a clean bucket.
• 
  
• Add 250 ml of Dettol in measuring cylinder. Add the Purified water in bucket up to the 10 Ltrs. & stir properly. 

IPA 70%

• Take a clean bucket.
• 
  
• Add 7 liters of IPA with measuring cylinder.
• 
  
• Add the purified water in bucket up to the 10 Ltrs. & stir properly.
• 
  
• Affix the label on the container
  

Precautions:

•  Separate bucket shall be used for preparation of disinfectant solution.
• 
  
•   Use face mask, hand gloves & safety goggles during Preparation of disinfectant.
• 
  
•  Prepare the disinfectants solution only with proper label like date of preparation, quantity prepared and date of validity.
• 
  
•    Use always freshly prepared dilutions of disinfectant solution.
• 
  
•    Use within 24 hours after preparation of Disinfectant.
