Rodent and pest control
- Prepare an annual contract with an authorized external pest control agency, to carry out the pest and rodent control operations.
- Pest control contract involves measures for:
- Spraying of the pesticides for the control of all flying insects (flies), ants, and lizards.
- The pest control agency is responsible to carry out the following pest control programme:
- General Pest management Services (GPMS) for Crewing Pest, cockroaches, black & red ants, Spider, Lizards.
- Rodent Management System (RMS) is for Rat & mice (Roof rat, Norway rat, Bandicoots rat.
- Fly Management Services (FMS) is for House, Drain & Fruit flies.
- Trained pest control personnel from Pest control agency shall visit the factory and carry out the pest & Rodent control treatment.
- HR department will take a training certificate of pest control person from pest control agency before start pest & rodent treatment.
- Roda Boxes installed outside the building at different locations shall be inspected on daily basis by housekeeping personnel for any rat captured near of the rodent boxes.
- The HR department monitors Pest & Rodent control programme.
- Care to be taken to avoid the exposure of materials during pest and rodent control operations and ensure the operations are carried out only in the non-manufacturing areas.
- Head HR will review to assess the entire pest and rodent control operations.
- During Rainy season; the frequency of spray shall be increased as per requirement biased upon Trend Chart.
- During Breeding Season (February to October) of files frequency of spray shall be increased as per requirement.
- Prepare a Rodent and pest control register to maintain all the records.
